Rose

Another image created in Blender. The rose was created to be part of the flowers tutorial in Nature Academy, but I didn't have time and patience to make a very complete scene so I used it now in this simple composition using cycles render engine.

Trees

The subject for week 3 of Nature Academy was trees and the free software Arbaro was used to create them before importing into Blender.
Here are two images, one with the leaves created in Arbaro, a second one with blender particles for the leaves, so we have more control on the size, number and texture.

Well, I wasn't completely satisfied with the result so I tried to improve. A bit better now:

Rocks

Keeping with the Nature Academy tutorials, this time the subject was Rocks:
A golden rock in between since this week a Canadian company found gold in Portuguese soil.

Nature

I'm one of the participants on the Nature Academy, here is the result of the first tutorial. Everything created on Blender except the sky background image that is a photo. The tree was not made by me, it is one of the models we have access on the course.
